The Van Pelt Button at U Penn

Visit Cybrary City II (134, 183, 24)

I recently completed a build for the University of Pennsylvania’s Weigle Information Commons. It is a collaborative area where students can work together on projects, study, or just hang out. The look and feel resembles the real-life WIC wing of the Van Pelt Library – the carpet texture has been created for use in SL, and the signature study booths can be seen in the background of this photo.

I’ve just completed the most important part, however: the world famous “broken button” that sits in the center of Penn’s campus, just outside of Van Pelt library. For you geeks out there, the real-life button is only a stone’s throw away from where ENIAC was born!
